How We’re Serving Our Community:

At Luxton Optical, we’re dedicated to providing our customers with trend-setting eyewear in a way that’s as safe as possible. Over the past few months, we’ve been busy taking steps to ensure that we would be able to safely reopen to serve our customers’ needs as quickly as possible. With that in mind, we’re happy to announce that as of June 22nd, we’re open for business!

We’re currently open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We ask that you please call us at (415) 461-9222 and book a time slot for your visit so we can allow for appropriate distancing measures to be taken.

How We’re Keeping You Safe:

Our top priority is the health and safety of our customers and staff. We want you to know that we’re taking extra precautions for the foreseeable future, and we will be adhering to the following safety guidelines:

  • To ensure proper social distancing, we’ll be spacing out visits and limiting the number of customers allowed in our store at the same time.
  • Appropriate protective equipment (masks, gloves, etc.) is required for all staff, masks are required for visitors, and we’ll be doing temperature checks for everyone who enters the office.
  • We’ve put in place a strict sanitation routine, which now includes wiping frames, surfaces, door handles, and other high-traffic areas.

What to Expect at Your Appointment:

The next time you visit Luxton Optical, you can still expect the same personalized experience. We’ll continue to take the time to get to know you, understand your vision goals, and help you find the pair of frames that match your unique style, your needs, and your budget. As we schedule more appointments with customers, we want to show you what a typical visit will look like:

To meet social distancing requirements, please limit the number of guests you bring in the store. All customers will be required to wear a mask, if you don’t have one, we’ll provide you with one. We’ll also be taking everyone’s temperature and conducting a pre-exam health survey to screen you for any signs of illness.

If you would like to try on a pair of frames, a member of our staff will collect the frames for you. To keep our customers safe, frames will be cleaned after each use. When you order your glasses, we’ll continue providing curbside pickup.
