Greg is a unique individual to our optical family. He has over 25 years experience in the optical industry in both frame and lenses. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from San Francisco State University. He started working at Sunglasses Hut in the early 90’s as district manager. He was a wholesale frame representative for Ray Ban. He opened his own sunglass stores in Santa Cruz, Aptos, and San Jose while working for Ray Ban. He sold his business and left his wholesale job, and worked for an optical store in Palo Alto for 8 years. Subsequently, he worked at an optical laboratory fabricating lenses at Prestige Optical Labs in San Francisco. During COVID-19 when he was staying at home, he studied Advanced Optical Dispensing through an online class at Chico State University. Greg joined our team at Luxton Optical in January 2022.
